2. write in texts or notes about sports using simple present tense.

D.   LEARNING STRATEGIES 

 

Opening Activities

 

1-Warm up activity:

Kim´s game. Teacher brings a bag and shows some smallish items( image shirt, shoes, pants, boots, cap, dress..) and the student says what they see. (7minutes)

 2.Review/ Prior Knowledge:

Brainstorming: The students name all the sports they know. They make a list on the board. (8minutes)

 

3.Presentation of New content:  (13minutes)

Present new Vocabulary: Teacher does a gesture to represent each sport vocabulary example kick a ball, swim ….

The students mimic the action and say the word.

My favorite sport is… asking the student for using the model.

Present the question “What is your favorite sport?”

My favorite sport is __________________.

Review simple present

We swim in the pool.
